iSoul In the beginning is reality

About iSoul

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2.7

Welcome to iSoul, information and insight for the soul. It could be called, “From Extremes to Means,” since it tries to steer a middle course in the context of opposites, that is, a center that is balanced between extremes. This is similar to contrarianism since a return to the center often requires moving in the opposite direction from the status quo.

This blog has its origins in trying to understand why people in general, and Christians in particular, are so strongly divided by ideas of creation, evolution, and nature. I’m supportive of historic creationism, that is, natural kinds and variations, as well as contemporary creationism and intelligent design, but I want to promote understanding rather than the belligerency that is common on all sides.

So this blog gets into science, history, philosophy, and theology, especially history of science and philosophy of science, and occasionally other topics such as psychology, society, and politics. In the last year, it has been focused on the three dimensionality of time and the symmetry of space and time.

Some posts have been transferred from other places, which is noted by a date at the bottom. Questions, comments, or constructive criticisms are always welcome.
